Kids Dig Gardening Club

Throughout the month of May, children at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library are taking part in a unique gardening project. Miss Susan, our garden expert, met with us and taught us how to build a garden in our back yard. Since it’s still a little chilly outside, we started out by planting some vegetables that enjoy cold temperatures such as carrots, lettuce and radishes. We are working very hard to grow many delicious foods!

Kids Dig

In a few weeks when it gets warmer, Miss Susan will return to help us plant some warm weather vegetables, but for right now, we are working on watering our garden each and every day. Stop by and check out all of our hard work!

Thank you to Miss Susan for helping us with this project.
